Business Training
Applying Systems Engineering
techniques can improve your job performance and your organisation's competitiveness.
If your company works or
thinks in systems concepts, it can almost certainly benefit from the application
of systems engineering processes. Systems Engineering is increasingly important
in developing competitive products in today's markets - helping you to manage
projects to budget and on time.
On a personal level, you
may not think of yourself (yet) as a systems engineer but this discipline has
much to offer you in terms of professional development and a systems engineering
approach can improve the effectiveness of all disciplines.
With Loughborough University,
the SEIC offers a range of ways to inject systems engineering skill and resources
into your company's profile.
- New employees.
Each year between 30 and 40 new systems engineers graduate from the university
with an MEng ( masters ) or a BEng (bachelor) and are snapped up by industry
and finance. Most are available for a whole year's placement in the middle
of their studies. Many are sponsored.

- Training or
upskilling existing employees. Employee
development can take the form of MSc
qualifications, an Engineering
doctorate or a
short course. These options are for key staff, usually graduate engineers,
who have the potential to rise to senior positions.
